The extra stuff is often the most interesting. It often contains more details than the broadcast story does, as I don't want to say they "dumb it down" for the broadcast, but sometimes they just can't cram the more complicated stuff into the 40 minutes. Or the tangential information that their investigations often reveal.

Now that I have talked it up, I really hope the CBC delivers something more than that is already available here.
