I believe the word "nothing" is a bit disingenuous in context
Without knowing the data, nothing is certain
Not even nothing
If say, all or one patient shows never before seen improvement or stability
That means SOMETHING
Not NOTHING
We may not be entirely sure what that SOMETHING is...
Maybe that something is just a genetic hiccup!
But
Let's be real...
Nothing?
Mono therapy patients
Even if only responding in ways similarly or equal to
Say, donepezil only patients
THAT
could be a huge leap forward
especially for those who are unable or unwilling to tolerate the side effects of the current drug market
No side effects AND any form of potential is astounding in and of itself and gives great hope for further research
We are talking Alzheimers
The bar has been set extremely high by management
for a clear reason imo
Further trials will benefit greatly from how this trial was designed
for THIS PARTICULAR compound
