"Commons will survive" is your opinion and not factual. In my prior posts, I never said this can't trade higher because it can with in pinky land antics. All I speak to is the end result which has been consistent.
This can emerge with the yieldcos perhaps. However, doesn't mean commons get a penny.
The secured debt is still at 5% of par in a very smart market and until value gets closer to par, the zero end game is more likely than not.
In addition, Suneq is still bleeding red ink and counting on asset sales vs any real revenues. Translation, creditors own the whole thing if this emerges.
If there was value in Suneq, buy volume would off the charts and remaining shorts would be getting out of dodge
Bottom line: there are solar plays out there with real revenues and decent balance sheets to invest in...
Ps. For those banking on an SEC / AG probe to produce value here, its a foolish errand.
