It's very easy to trade 10-20 mill shares at .40 cents compared to 10-12 dollars. That being said, the equivalent value traded would have to be 50million shares in one day to equal 12$ x 2.5 mill shares traded 1 day a year ago. So, volume was not really that high given the extremely low pps relatively speaking.
