gao, alright, this example,

.L. Halsey Corporation (OTCBB: JLHY, previously NAHC)
on 10/02/2000 at $0.006. On 05/12/05 they announced a reverse merger with Lyris Technologies, Inc. and closed at $0.32 on volume of 419,700, a gain of 5,233% UPDATE: traded as high as $0.79 on volume of 688,300 on 08/23/05, a gain of 13,000%!

they traded at 0.006 on 10/02/2000 and on the merger date of 5/12/05 they closed at 0.32.

That's 4 and 1/2 years difference on quotes. What does that tell me? It tells me you are being less than honest. This pump is being operated with the classic "throw enough shit on the wall and some of it may stick." It smells of what it is.
