This is interesting when looking for “an out” in the strength of the commitment in this phrasing:
We had a series of successful meetings with the Cameroon MINEPAT delegation on August 5, 2016 in Washington DC. Our objective in this meeting was to resolve any remaining questions on the finance of the contract and move forward. We did meet that objective and in the words of the Minister, “it is time to get to work on this contract”.
As it speaks to “questions” and of course we know what “move forward” means. In other words questions are not answers; cheques in hand. Still sounds very good despite problems of verification. Nothing unfortunately to stop KJ in the future to say sorry it didn’t work out.
