I definitely believe that the Muslim extremism is a very big and important issue. It might be the most important issue going. It actually flows right into what I philosophically believe is a much larger issue but won't go into here as it isn't a popular belief(though it is gaining strides)
I believe that any refugee Muslim or not has a right to seek asylum in the United States. That is what the country was founded on.
I believe that the military is strong enough, I wouldn't cut spending but it does not need strengthening. It is generally not used to the best of its capacity anyways. I would like to see that happen.
Border Security is usually overblown and use to excite people. I think that we do a good job with it, I wouldn't be opposed to more funding(not a ton more) but I don't feel its needed and the whole "wall" idea is the most retarded thing I have ever heard.
Unfortunately, like or not illegal immigrants fulfill a very necessary economic role in our society so until we fix that aspect of it and eliminate their need I don't have a big issue with them being here. They add way more to the economy than they drain from it. Its not even close.
Finally, depends on what you mean by supporting police.
Yes I don't believe they should be ambushed and that they have a tough and mostly thankless job. I also believe that there are way more good cops than bad ones(and that's not even close)
Having said that, one important detail that was sadly swept under the rug during the Ferguson riots was just how truly racist and corrupt that police department was. I believe that to be the case n a lot of departments and it only comes to light during times of tragedy.
I will support the police whole heartedly but they do need to be cleaned up.
I hope that helps you my friend.
I realize that we won't agree on all these but it will hopefully lead to a better understanding of each other
