Thank you KOOG. I didn't need to go past the first paragraph to see that I had serious questions with the Libertarian Party.
As Libertarians, we seek a world of liberty; a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and no one is forced to sacrifice his or her values for the benefit of others.
I have some serious questions. I'm not being facetious. Do the individual rights include the right to:
* Turn an individual's home into a halfway house for pedophiles in a neighborhood full of children.
* Take multiple spouses and collect social security for each of them.
* Marry one's beloved goat or donkey and collect social benefits for them.
* Paint any individual home in America like a tie/dye T shirt.
* To not send their children to school and not even home school them.
* Go to any public place naked.
This is a shortlist but I'm sure there people out there with far more expansive imaginations than I, that can come up with a lot more individual rights. I wonder if a Libertarian Government will defend them all?
