If this identity proves to be a representative of a business/brokerage, etc then you can understand why the attorney is after the identity because if it is a brokerage or hedge fund, their compliance department and their legal department is going to go balistic! Just think what the court settlement would be for breaking compliance, SEC and FINRA laws by sending out a sluth for the benefit to the firm and its trading profits! Maybe that is why the attorney is so relentless in finding out the identity! Maybe he is not so mental but in fact dumb as a fox in his persuit.
