True, but they're not stupid. Some of the more aggressive institutions - especially Hedge Funds - are quickly becoming amnesic as they evaluate AMRN's increasingly opportunistic setup - due in part by significant changes in:
1. Price pattern
2. Short position (grown since ANCHOR adcom)
3. Fundamentals (RX sales, 1A, NCE, other supporting research, etc.)

The recent pattern breakout will confirm if the early June high is taken out. This will undoubtedly attract expanding volume into the interim readout. Actually, though not as dramatic, the unwinding short position could produce a similar pps move witnessed in Porsche:

As the hedge funds scrambled to buy the last few available shares to close out their shorts the share price of Volkswagen shot to stratospheric levels making it the most valuable company in the world for a very short period.
