I think Alot has changed. in the computer age.

wall street big players spend billions on the latest supercomputer systems ,and try to get as close to the trading floor as possible to gain milliseconds advantage so they can trade millions of mini penny price points and make millions of dollars doing it.

Thats a little different... dark pools, etc..government interventions, the FED owning half of the whole market. Global market control unlike anything in history. its all totally different.
