I can tell you, if she were taking 4 hour doses of Fentanyl, she would not be posting anything anywhere. She would be high as a kite. When I am in the hospital on Dilaudid, they put the alarm on my bed. It has a pressure alert and the alarms go off and everyone comes running if I get up, including just sitting on the edge of the bed. Now I have posted here from the hospital, but only after they have been weening me off Dilaudid and onto Norco.

And I still know why hospitals dispense Dilaudid and not Fentanyl and they have never jacked me up with Morphine and Dilaudid at the same time.
