MBR, I would invest in a Helm's service manual for the vehicle if you plan on keeping it. In the manual, I would bet money that you would find that the service engine light would come on automatically around 60K miles. It would also tell you how to turn it off. When you mentioned the co2 sensor, I think you are referring to the oxygen sensor, or the O2 sensor. The manual will tell you how determine in the sensor needs to be replaced. First they only leak when the vehicle is running, so you never know it. Then they leak intermittantly when you stop. Then then get progressively worse. Once the vehicle is out of warranty, never take it back to the dealership. Like you posted, in my opinion they are professional crooks. Good luck, Phil
