Are we preparing for liftoff?
I think so. People are going to pick up on the Q's upbeat message about throughput, the completed maintenance turnaround, more than a single refinery, signs of improving crack spread, increased miles being driven, the oncoming driving season, energy's starting to return to some semblance of stability...and there's a whole lot more I'm not even addressing. Suffice to say this is a shoo-in for profits by those who are unafraid and willing to trust their instincts.
Now at $9.95? That's 60 cents more than I paid this morning and I didn't get a good price...so I'd say all is well in the kingdom. If we close at or near my buy price of $9.35, I'll be good with that. It's not about money being made today, at least not for me. I'm looking two quarters out from here. That's when I'll take action to take gains off the table.
