David SandbergPortfolio Manager, Chairman of the Board of Directors

Mr. David Sandberg founded Red Oak Partners in 2003 after co-managing private equity firm JH Whitney’s $500 million Green River hedge fund. Since inception, Red Oak has achieved a long compound annual return in excess of 30% and has invested nearly $1 billion across its principal’s 17 year investment career. Mr. Sandberg has taken an active role at the board level in leading growth within Red Oak’s investments, and presently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Asure Software (Nasdaq: ASUR) and as a Director of SMTC Corp. (Nasdaq: SMTX), Planar Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: PLNR), and Issuer Direct Corp. (Nasdaq: ISDR), all of which are public companies. Mr. Sandberg also serves as Chairman of the Board of Kensington Vanguard Group, LLC, the largest national real estate services company in the north east, and recently served as a Director at public companies RF Industries, Ltd. and EDCI, Inc. The average return amongst these investments has been in excess of 100%, and Red Oak is the largest or one of the largest owners of each of these companies. Mr. Sandberg graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Industrial Management and a BA in Economics.
J. Randall WaterfieldBoard of Directors

Mr. J. Randall Waterfield, is a member of the Red Oak Partners Board of Directors. He is also the Chairman of Waterfield Group, a diversified financial services holding company that traces its origins to 1928. After selling the largest private mortgage company in the US and largest Indiana based bank in 2006 and 2007 respectively, Waterfield Group has diversified into technology, real estate, asset management and merchant banking. Mr. Waterfield holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a member of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and former Chairman of the YPO New York City Chapter, the Northeast Regional Chairman of YPO, a member of Mensa, and a graduate of Harvard University. Anthony SnowManaging Director

Anthony Snow oversees research for Red Oak Partners. Prior to joining Red Oak, Mr. Snow worked at Soros Fund Management where he was part of a two person team that managed a $250 million global long/short equity portfolio. Prior to Soros, Mr. Snow also focused on investments in global equities at both Ardea Capital Management, as part of the founding team, and Wyper Capital Management. Previously, Mr. Snow was employed at Lindsay Goldberg, a private equity firm, where he was an Associate focused on leveraged buyouts. Mr. Snow began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co. as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group. He received a B.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan, concentrating in finance and accounting, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Mr. Snow is currently a Director and Chairman of the Finance Committee of StreetWise Partners, a New York City non-profit, and also serves on the Executive Committee.

Adrian Pertierra is Chief Financial Officer and Head of Trading for Red Oak Partners. He is also the CFO/Head of Trading for the Red Oak Fund, L.P. since December 2007. Prior to joining Red Oak, Mr. Pertierra served as Vice President of Global Markets at Deutsche Bank Alternative Trading that specialized in investing in several major world markets using various quantitative strategies. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he was a trader on the risk arbitrage desk at Tradition Asiel Securities, Inc. from 2006-2007 where he specialized in analyzing and trading the capital structure of companies that were involved in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Pertierra served as the Vice President of Institutional Equity Sales and Trading at BGC Partners, LP from 2002-2006. He worked at A.B. Watley, Inc. from 1997 to 2002: he was the Manager of the Finance and Accounting department from 1997 to 1999, and from 1999 to 2002 he was an Associate Vice President in the Institutional Equity Sales Trading division. Mr. Pertierra graduated from College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelor’s degree in economics.
Krishan LeongSenior Analyst

Krishan Leong is a Financial Analyst with Red Oak Partners. He joined Red Oak in 2007 and has since performed extensive financial modeling, operational research and executive management interviews on hundreds of companies. Prior to joining Red Oak, Mr. Leong worked as a Financial Analyst for Henery Hawk Capital, a family office. Prior to working at Henery Hawk, Mr. Leong played poker professionally for several years earning over $1.4mm in his career. He also founded his own poker data analytics business which sold access to data on SaaS basis to other professional players. Previously, Mr. Leong was an IT consultant for Accenture. Mr. Leong graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Computer Science.
Karina SandbergOffice Manager

Mrs. Sandberg has been the office Manager of Red Oak Partners since 2009, and oversees all technology infrastructure and disaster recovery programs and procedures. Additionally, she has responsibility for the administration functions of the firm. Previously, Mrs. Sandberg was a Marketing Associate at McAnn Corp, and graduated from Florida State University in 2008.
