I would think that any deal that they would have, would be a verbal agreement and not a signed agreement. If there was a signed agreement CBAI would have to release the news since the SEC would come down on them for withholding significant news affecting the company. Do not think it matters when they announce the deal, as long as the closing (effective)date is after May 16th or what ever date is to qualify for long term.
