Whenever I launch a fresh position in a stock, I always start with a cautious first step. This is to give me a chance to catch up on related news, SEC filings and public sentiment. Case in point:
This morning I started a position in Helix Energy Solutions (HLX). I purchased just 200 shares at $4.78/share. I've been studying the new pick much of today and feel I'm getting my hands around the operation. SEC filings are going to be at the root of my "discovery" period. Moments ago I placed my first post on the HLX board which has not been active since 11/17/15.
Back to NGL---yesterday I remarked that I expect a day sometime this month when we find NGL rises a dollar or even more. Will it happen today or tomorrow? I don't know-- but I do think we're going to see it before the end of this month.
