Weby---Terrific post...but,
you neglect one little variable; actually a pretty big variable....that variable goes under the name SEA CHANGE!!! SEA CHANGE as it relates to TPMs.

So how do we measure this SEA CHANGE.

Last year at this time, it would have taken anyone a mighty effort to locate in the marketing promotional literature any highlighted discussion about the advantages of Enterprise PCs with embedded TPMs. IBM had been using TPMs for years, but they hid that fact always in the tiny footnotes at bottom of the page.

This time, as in TODAY, the TPMS are out in the open! TPMs have finally become a terrific excuse to purchase an enterprise PC. Remember that review a few months ago where the reviewer points out it's a very nice laptop BUT.....strange to say, the brand NEGLECTED to include a TPM!!! THAT IS A SEA CHANGE!!!!

TPMs are pouring down unabated everywhere directly from fat swollen trust clouds.

The OEMs are now deluging the market with TPMs! TPMs have become MAINSTREAM! TPMs are accelerating towards Critical Mass!! I went to a Chinese Restaurant last night and broke open my fortune cookie and it shouted out: "THE LETTERS T P M WILL BRING YOU WEALTH AND HEALTH, BUT ESPECIALLY WEALTH VERY VERY SOON."

This YEAR is very different from ALL prior Trusted Computing Years!

The PAST is NOT always incontrovertibly linked to the Present!

Yesterday the Trusted Computing Age lay fallow . Trusted Computing was nowhere to be found. Was it hiding? No. It was dormant, it lurked and swirled in the shadows; it was not on anyone's map.

I don't want to hear about the past! The past is past! To hell with the past. Let the bashers go waste their time humping the dead corpses of the past. Throw the past into the nearest garbage bin. The past can also be made into a graven idol!

The dawn of Trusted Computing has finally Arrived, Weby!!!!

Wavoids OVERTHINK! We need to UNDERTHINK once in the while. Underthinking is nececssary because at this stage of the game the whole thing is rather very simple to understand! The Trusted Computing Revolution has LAUNCHED, and WAVE has captured fundamental core components of the Trusted Computing landscape. That's all!!! That's it!!! Nothing more to overthink about.

And by the way, SCREW REVENUES!!! The minute the market UNDERSTANDS our Trusted Computing relationship with DELL or SEAGATE or NTT or APPLE, this investment zooms to the heavens and beyond!!!!
