Your assessment with out naming names is very plausible.
I share your feelings when it comes to shorting these penny stocks. Hopefully you learned a valuable lesson; don't trust anyone on these message boards. I believe there are a group of people with many aliases who are pumping these stocks but probably taking the other side of the trade. I have seen a pattern of this happening. Question is, are they affiliated with an institution and if they are, is it legal for an institution to pump penny stocks on public message boards?
