WY/PCL—The devastation of the mountain pine beetle came up on today’s 4Q15 CC. Due to a decline in Canadian exports to Asia—and a favorable exchange rate relative to the US Dollar—some Canadian timber has been coming to the US market. But Canadian supply has indeed been sharply limited by the beetle, which is bullish for US timber suppliers such as WY.
