Have you seen a PR confirming a sale? I look at it this way. They are posting anything they can find that is remotely positive(ie, new website), don't you think they would post a sale?
"If I remember correctly, the company said they had lots and lots of interest in the company". They can say anything they want but I'll believe it when it's PR'd.
