GEO, Good morning. I, too, can appreciate all you have just said, as I am probably only ten years your junior. In Alabama, we listened to WLS Chicago at night, WWL New Orleans, WSB Atlanta....etc. In the early 70's we were amazed with the clarity of FM broadcasting, however the waves were shorter and we only could pick up about 40-50 miles of good broadcast. Now that satellite is here, I am pleased to know I can get my favorite stations anywhere I travel, except around a big truck, under a bridge, in a parking garage and in a tunnel. Oh well, I guess nothing is 100%, but this is close.
