fwiw, i'm with you. i've been a mac-guy since the mid-80s.
and i still feel OS X is the best OS available, esp if you know unix shell scripting.
for coding work, it's the best of all worlds for me.
but i punted on iOS when my iphone 4s was stolen.
been using samsung android phones since and find them far superior.
solid hardware, and much more powerful, flexible OS.
i'll keep buying macs as long as there in no viable alternative.
the mac hardware is still top-notch.
we pay for that up-front, but the resale value of macs is usually 50-60% of the purchase price a few years layer.
i but my macs from apple refurb and often sell them at 80-90% of my purchase price 1-2 years later.
and windows is useless to me.
clunky GUI, and powershell is a weak sub for unix,
esp given 20 years on unix tools in my kit.
all that said, if i shorted stocks, i would short AAPL for sure into 2016.
i feel android will continue to erode iphone sales next year.
and iwatch will continue to lag behind competitors.
i expect AAPL to have solid consumer VR offerings when that splashes
but until it really takes off (prolly 2017),
i think AAPL revenue will decline.

99.99% of all pinks are scams. Best to assume the other 0.01% are as well.
