Possibly Ondra convinced him of wrongdoing on the part of NWBO, or, advised him that he could take greater control of NWBO by taking it down and making it vulnerable. From the time after his first two investments, the NWBO appeared to be gaining strength and on solid footing, with the appearance of likely future financings by Woodford. Then the S/P began mysteriously declining a few months before his last investment - on no news. Coldnight says that this is a pattern seen in other companies he has invested in. He took an activist position in a company called Omega, that crashed after he tried to take it over, and it has never recovered its value after his intervention in the board and management. How do you create value for your investors by creating so much turmoil that the company cannot operate? Or by forcing the company to use "advisers" with adversarial positions and conflicts of interest? Maybe the plan was to destabilize the company and take it over, as some others have suggested, using a mole, Katherine Wolf and former Milken allies to recreate the Dendreon playbook.
