So the fact it might take years to catch up makes it OK to steal confidential info or to not disclose conflicts of interest? That is totally unprofessional and illegal.

The relationships may not be as arbitrary as you portray. A few quick google searches reveal strong ties between Freeh, Pepper Hamilton and Celldex. When both Ondra and Freeh group have conflicts coming at you from both sides, it is appropriate to close ranks. Since Freeh would have been working for Woodford, not NWBO, he would not necessarily need to disclose those conflicts.
