Who is trying to stir the pot further here? This investigation better move quickly or pps goes sideways and down...again. This wait has been frustrating enough and now conspiracy and deceit are thrown into the mix??
"Woodford, from all accounts wrt NWBO, appears not to be the savvy and upright investor he would have you believe. His DD appears to be incomplete and his statement that he only became aware of CERTAIN allegations in an anonymous report after he funded $30 million is disingenuous in the least and likely a cover up to make it seem as LP somehow duped him, an experienced and highly resourced fund manager, rather than inadequate DD. Interestingly, he does not mention which allegations he was unaware of. Phase V was able to turn up this information from publically available records, so why not Woodford with the research resources he surely has at hand. Woodford's due diligence wrt to Ondra and the partner who is a director of a company in litigation with Cognate in Federal court further illustrates his lack of care in vetting/DD. In principle, the independent investigation with Arnold and Porter, a highly respected law firm, leading the way is good for NWBO and forces the transparency that shareholders have been requesting. Does not seem that LP is worried about the baloney and welcomes the investigation to clear all these accusations. And...the investigation has a wider scope. First, to vet NWBO internally. Second, to get at the bottom of short manipulations, counterfeiting and the authors of this anonymous report who do not have the courage of their convictions to reveal who they are. Linda and Les have to feel very confident about their management stewardship and the technology to essentially rebuff Woodford's recommended personnel and to publically embarrass him with respect to Ondra. You don't do that in this game unless the hand you are holding is pretty strong. I don't think Linda is bluffing because she will have to reveal her hand. Essentially, she told NWBO's second largest holder to take a hike and that she is in control but reasonable in welcoming an independent and thorough investigation. It may be that Woodford is not a "friend" at all but a Trojan horse for his own interest and agenda in taking over the company by driving the price down, seemingly at loggerheads with his long position. Maybe by attempting to take it private. So Linda has fired the shot across the bow AND why would Woodford act in these interests? Because he thinks the TECHNOLOGY is great and a game changer and thus he never cared about management and the shorts' pieces and bashing would help his agenda. Certain allegations he was unaware of? Not a chance really. He knew everything and is attempting to throw LP under the bus. Don't think it is gonna happen and would not be surprised that Woodford could well be linked to PhaseV in addition to Malick and Ondra. A nasty shark and no friend of NWBO. They will proceed with the investigation in short order and conclude it within 90 days. They will have sufficient funds on hand to last until then and very likely, positive upcoming announcements to enhance their chances of non toxic financing. Interesting to see whether Woodford will try to increase his stake to try to gain control. Stay tuned."
