42% vs 29% Physicians Favor [RLYP's] Veltassa vs [ZSPH's/AZN's] ZS-9. 28% neutral.
BAML hyperkalemia survey results. Also Edema a concern for 67% [that's a drawback for ZS9] ----------------- A poster at YMB notes:
I strongly recommend anyone here long term on Veltassa read the research note by Bank of America. By a factor of 2 to 1, U.S. physicians are favoring Veltassa over ZS in chronic. Also very importantly, they stated they will put 70% of the patients on these new k-binders. ALso note these results still assume ZS is not boxed. If boxed [warning regarding ZS9] on edema or DDi [drug-to-drug interaction] or [excessive sodium uptake], the picture shall change in a greater favor of Veltassa
