Fred,
Market commentary is a tricky business. I have a theory that a market predictor, any market predictor, can not be popular and right at the same time (except for a few shorts years in the blow-off phase of a bull market, when everyone and his dog make phantom money). The front-running by followers destroys the predictive power itself. I'm sure Zeev can appreciate the rather Hagelian irony ("every system contains the seeds of its own destruction"), perhaps from the voracious readings of his youth. Turnips have done remarkably well considering how big the following is; then, there is the mechanistic aspects of the world that even an Hero can no escape.
