I don't know that I agree with you. I think a lot depends on one's expectations. Personally, I never imagined the turnips could show me the path to a golden future. I've just found them sounder than much of what passes for market commentary.

I notice Zeev trades successfully on the long side, in the face of the "bearish" turnips. Perhaps they are less a rudder than a compass.

I regret that I can't comment on the Cabbage Patch. I haven't cultivated it. That doesn't mean cabbages are not superior to turnips, it just means that I have no way of knowing, one way or the other.

You could say my opinion's value is limited by the narrowness of my horizon.
