Thanks Conrad, Steve and Bernie. Who would have thought there's a Help file. Duh! Bernie, I can always count on you. :) This worked and my heart has stopped pounding.
Conrad: I would like to hear more about your program. Is there a demo? I don't have private mail here yet. I'm waiting for a "sale" on the membership, but if you send me your email address, I'll email you.
Tom: ACG has been a very reliable provider of high interest dividends. I don't remember seeing so much drama in it before.
I have another question for you, and maybe others might know. You always set aside money for taxes when you have gains. I have been working toward the restoration of my wealth and suddenly this morning I realized I've not been calculating taxes. I have worked my way to better than a fifth of my goal and I figure if things continue as they have been going I will be in the topmost tax bracket this year (just from getting back to where I was). Well, how much is the highest tax bracket? How much do I need to set aside for taxes, figuring Fed, State and City? Believe it or not I don't have an accountant. If anyone knows, please let me know. I guess I have to recalculate my goals.
By the way, there's something unfair about all this. I paid taxes when I gained the money in the first place, when I lost more than I had, I didn't get benefits equivalent to the amount I paid when I earned it, and now I'll have to pay the taxes on it again. I won't complain, however. I will just say this in an observational, dispassionate tone. lol
Tom, I really missed you. Another race car! Wow, wow, wow!
