Smilin: What does your spreadsheet do?

All: I need some help with correcting an input error in Newport. I used to know how to fix this, but I'm helpless now, and even more helpless than I used to be in using Windows programs.

I was trying to input a Buy of 5000 shares at 1.475 but input it at 147.50. According to notepad, this changed Portfolio Control from 620363 to 251613. I opened Notepad in the text editor, which seems to be the extent of my abilities, and changed the price from 147.50 to 1.475 but that did nothing. I can't find the place to change the Portfolio Control back, or how to do it, or how to just remove the last BUY from the History and re-enter it. I do have a backup of the entire HD on another computer, but I couldn't figure out how to copy the files from this stock and get them onto the main computer, replacing Newport's files.

Many years ago, Tom helped me solve something like this, but it's just gone from memory now. Sorry.
