Atom is a joke. Don't even mention it in the same sentence as something like the A9X

You're right. The A9X burns far more power per core and likely has twice
the TDP at the socket level.

Very different design targets and constraints. Apple wanted to challenge
Core ULV in performance. Intel wanted to challenge ARMH cores in power.
