Possibly they used the wrong wording this whole time with the word "settlement". According to Kennedy, this is what they were after the whole time:

"So our goal is to take that preliminary ruling and to make it final so we can continue along the path of promotion of Vascepa to the ANCHOR -- for using the ANCHOR patient population."

So this may be all that comes of Dec 17th and I personally think that is fine. We can move on, we have 1A in our pockets and decision will be final. It would have been nice if something else came out of it, but not looking that way.

And to the question why the delay, why this is taking so long.....It's the FDA....
