I would say that IMSC has chosen R&D over near term profitability, not refinance. Their argument would be that the stronger the company's IP, the better chance it has of attracting new investors. Given that new approaches will be required to solve currently unaddressed security concerns, their logic seems OK to me.

I think you guys are looking at DMRJ selling shares from the wrong end of the telescope. From their point of view they are managing risk and making money when they can. Until quite recently there was a very real chance that IMSC would crash and burn leaving DMRJ with little but unsuccessfully commercialized IP.

Now that the risk has lessened some, I tend to agree with the people saying DMRJ is making money while they can. As I noted yesterday, the worth of IMSC's technology and products has never been higher than it is today. We all hope it will go higher still, but I believe DMRJ see an exit coming, and are probably even willing to take a bit of a haircut to make it happen. Anyone buying in will want them out of the picture, so now it is all about maximizing the return on their original investment.
