Stray voltage would not make all apps work the same in or out of your ear.
You know what.... even your argument is saying this bci is garbage. You are saying that it picks up so much Stray voltage that it can't distinguish between brain waves or alien signals.
You would think that without being hooked up to something with brainwaves that some part of the app would act different. Like the bars would bounce a little on the bottom and show a small amount of signal.
