Thanks for your response to my query, though I fail to understand how a penny stock scam would cause a sitting federal court judge to sign a default order for EIGH yet not address the question of a civil penalty. He even went so far as to re-open the closed case so it's not that he forgot about the open motion. Judge Griesa may be old but he's not illiterate about financial issues, he continues to hear the Argentinian/ NY hedge funds bond case. Penny stock scams are a dime a dozen, imo all the more reason to rubber stamp a penalty and move on to the next case.

I just don't get it.
