I think you underestimate the power of Saleen.. The Saleen brand is very deeply rooted, yes its a business, yes its a mess, yes it looks bad.

Fact is the people who buy Saleeen cars are very wealthy. Saleen is a niche market with a very large following. What saleen needs is a very large injection of cash to do mass production. Not a few million dollars to keep operations running. More like 100 Million dollar funding and a production plant. The only question is how would Steve get an investor to put that much money behind him without diluting the stock.
I think with an injection of cash like 100 Million and a plant, buying of saleen cars would sky rocket!!! Saleen cars are a work of art, just need to find the right investor who wants to be the collector.
