An apparent legit small O&G Had the lease on the 9700 acres Gas Lease in Crockett Co , TX. They sold it to raise funds to develop property on the Gulf Coast. Elder idge picked it upand passed it to Dial/GFCI.

With in days telling GFCI shareholders that GCI was in the gas field development biz, he formed First Texas Natural Gas (FTXN) and moved the gas property to FTXN.

've always wondered why Dial wasn't prosecuted for that stunt.
