Trying to figger out what the DOJ is doing is like the blind man feeling an elephant's tail and trunk, then describing what the critter looks ike.

Total claims have been said to be a bit over $7 million. 1.25% of $7 mm is about $90,000. Where did $90K come from? It relates to nothing that I think I know. Some guesses:

* The DOJ knows the Dial appeal could drag on for a long time, so they distributed a token amount, to ease the pain.

* I've assumed that the only reason Dial filed an appeal to lower claims from $7.2mm to $5,8 mm was because he had assets he wanted to protect. Maybe he has no discovered assets and wants to limit garnishment of future income.

* $90K maybe all that's left of Jarvis's assets and it's all over folks.

Any other guesses? I remember that Kesha told some callers that her VIN role had been assigned to another woman. Maybe some one can track her down.
