lscp -- microwave procedures has proven to be not very good... ~50% retreatment rate after 2 years. Reimbursement rate to uro's is very high though so that is driving it. But still, it may be less than a sham of going on expensive meds at the risk of bladder damage and other bad side effects. i expect people will eventually understand the data.

I understand from an Euro urologist that TURP and drugs are the free choices offered in Europe. If you try to offer TUMT or TUNA(microwave) over there, you are viewed as worse than a whore. I guess the health ministries over there have educated the public better.
