Bruce Springsteen enters the Freehold High School Hall of Fame. The Boss' mother, Adele, accepts the honor during the inaugural induction ceremony and reads a note on her son's behalf. According to his mom, Springsteen, class of '67, could not attend the event because "he was working on a new record." The real reason is likely the fines from those unreturned books and a specter of having to finally complete his detention. 2006

Even though Richards later claimed the comment wasn't true that's just the sort of twisted thing real pirates would have done. 2007

According to court documents, Astley claims that her husband's actions are "no longer tolerable."
