Question . What do you believe they should compare it to,there is nothing else

Then don't compare it to anything, or explain why in your study you have a third grouping when all other previous studies grouped the patients into 2 categories. By not stating the difference (other than a quick blurb today to cover their ass)you are being purposely misleading IMO.
