Why would IDCC NOT wish to start the 3G payments?

You also mention Nokia's 2G and how Ericy will trigger the rate. You forgot to mention that it also could go to arbitration as mentioned by IDCC. And frankly that is just what I would do if I was Nokia. And exactly what Nokia did to Qcom. No down side for Nokia to do so. And a possible better deal if they do.
They don't have ANY problem selling 3G phones, right now if fact, with our I/P in it and we certainly are not getting paid for 3 g by them, heck we can't even get them to pay for 2g yet!
We can't even get the 2G payments started and here you are having IDCC turn down 3G payment from Ericy.

This has turned into nothing but a pumpers board. And most are only to happy to make excuses for a company that has underachived on EVERY meaningful contract they ever have. Why if you read some of the posts, it's like IDCC was in control. More like the redheaded step child that nobody really wants...
