No study that I'm aware of has ever rated Copax above any of the other drugs. I should have answered your original question a little better. Some (probably most) insurance companies require a patient to fail one or two drugs before they will pay for the newer, more expensive ones. That's a major plus for Copax. Also it has less side effects than say Avonex which is also not as expensive as newer drugs. Neither one is very good, but they are often the starting place.

As for Trimesta being the most efficacious for women, I don't know. I am fairly new to SYN and came because of c. difficile. The MS drug is kind of a bonus (for me) and I need to do more DD on it. I would think it would be a possibility, though.

This is probably common knowledge for the board, and I apologize, but do you know why they chose to do a combo rather than a stand-alone trial?
