The SEC has up to 5 years to complete their investigation and file charges. These days, the time from suspension to civil and/or criminal charges is 2-3 years for most SEC suspensions. Since it has only been 8 months since AEGY was suspended, it is not at all surprising that charges have not yet been filed. Instead, it would be very surprising if they were filed this quickly.
