You're right gas is cheap--NOW! Do you honestly believe that is going to last forever?

The argument of not enough charging stations is dead in the water. How many gas stations do you think were in the USA when the first few hundred Fords rolled off the line? Were there enough to drive coast to coast (Go ahead and answer that one please!) Tesla is building new (and faster) stations as I write and this will only continue for decades. Ever hear of NEW & IMPROVED?

Stop being such a Luddite. You sound like the guy that said the world only has a market for five computers or the guy that said guitar bands are on the way out. Things will continue to change and evolve long after you and I have both been returned to dust.
