Since you have already gone through your own thought process, and articulated it well, I suggest you be the one to execute it into action and bring about the changes you want.
I do not have that calling, anymore. I have paid my dues at ASHM's (once I was the only shareholder present), I fully endorsed a class action suit, made trips to bondholders in New York, contacted every historical shareholder prior to 2005...you know, things like that.
I was the number one shareholder actually doing something to get John Kang removed. If you do not think so, talk to Abdi Mohamedi, General Caruana, Henri Chen, Bill Johnson, and a slew of directors who all resigned from the board due to malfeasance. I introduced companies to Liquidmetal as potential customers. I have made more than 15 visits to Caltech to speak with Johnson and team. None of my efforts have resulted in the dead wood being removed from the company, other than Kang himself. None of my efforts prevented dilution, though, in the last go around, and prior to that, when it came to proxy votes, I have done my part to vote against frivolous stock awards.
It's time for you and your generation to take to the helm and provide leadership, if you like. As you know, making noises and getting results, they are two different things. I like my noise. You like yours.
Go prove yourself on the playing field. I have already been there and done that.
