IceWEB, Inc. (OTC BB:IWEB; Graeme Gibson, Chief Technologist of IceWEB, Inc. today announced the launch of a major project to provide high capacity fiber and microwave service at the Kansas City International Airport (“KCI”) maintenance base. The service will support Aviation Technical Services, Inc. -- (ATS). In late December, ATS announced it is locating an over 600,000 square-foot operation at the “Super Hanger” space near KCI Airport. The aviation maintenance company, which is based in Everett, Wash., plans on having 175 to 200 workers at the facility within the first 12 months of operation, with more than 500 working at the facility over the next three to five years.
