Here's the skinny on the PolyHeist: Leo and Dr Menon's boys learned of the Poly situation in BK. They informed Leo and company that the assets were to be sold at auction and that there was little interest from the Biopharma community. As I understand it, the boys put together a stalking horse bid which took place at the height of Martha Vinyard season, meaning most biopharma officers were on vacation. The rest is history, other than the new corporation Nanonacteriacide (or whatever it's called) was the finders fee for putting together the deal.
