I find myself continually wondering why

The United States is the only common law jurisdiction in the world
that continues to use the grand jury to screen criminal indictments

It will be interesting to see if the Michael Brown killing and McCulloch's
pre-determined and precedent setting process opens any new debate on that question.

In the least with Wilson's retirement that is one more undesirable gone from the nation's multi police forces. An earlier recent
